Annie Folger
Annie Folger serves as Vice President of The Council of Mothers. Annie is passionate about building community through communication. Whether teaching conflict resolution or grief counseling, producing corporate video training or giving voice to the voiceless through community dialogue, her life focus has been meaningful communication and connection. In meeting Laura over 45 years ago, she found a spiritual sister on the path of service. Their journeys have led them to today, where they celebrate sisterhood and gather their sisters to become catalysts for world peace and love.

She believes that: Love is an asset; Love is an investment; Love gives unto itself.
Born in Austria's tradition of civic associations, The Council of Mothers is a gathering of women who remember their responsibility to the world.
We believe in the power of the feminine. Our first initiative is World Sisters, a vision of women holding hands around the world.
If there ever comes a time when women join together simply and purely for the benefit of all mankind, it will be a force such as the world has never known.
— Matthew Arnold
Why is now the time?
Because division is loud and love has been quiet for too long.
Because mothers know what happens when compassion disappears.
Because children deserve a world organized around care.
Because women across cultures carry stories that must be heard:
Through media
Through gatherings
Through education
Through courageous connection.
We are not building a moment.
We are building a movement
and movements are built by people who say yes.
